Retirement Account – State Teachers Retirement System You will need a password for much of this site. You can send for it, receive it in the mail, then actually access your entire retirement account online. This site also covers various other areas like disability insurance and survivor benefits.
Flex/125 Plan – Administered by American Fidelity (This is where various health costs can be deducted from your paycheck which makes them tax-free. Even if you don’t want to be reimbursed for drug costs, having your health/dental insurance taken out before taxes is a valuable money saver). Contact American Fidelity Assurance Company. Hourly Pay – 2010-11 = $24.07 per hour if not covered by supplemental.
Professional Leave – reimbursement is currently 51 cents per mile, $50.00 per day for food. Central Office has published new guidelines for professional leave, for a copy click here.
